The musical score collection of the Music Department consists of more than 10 thousand items. Patrons with a library card may loan any of them for free. (For the conditions of loan click here link a kölcsönzés feltételeire)

 Patrons with a visitng card may use any part of the collection in-site or may request a photocopy or a digital copy of the parts of the items. 

 The musical scores are placed on the open shelves, sorted into instrumental groups and then in alphabetical order within each group, by the author's names. You can find the wanted item by its call number as shown in the on-line catalogue.. (E.g. Z 161 B 44)

The call number can be seen at the upper left-hand corner of the cover of a sheet music.

Z = musical material (from the Hungarian word "zenei" that means "musical")

161 = works for piano

B 44 = Beethoven

 Search: To find the work above, do the following steps:

First, go to open shelves and find no 161.

Second, find "Beethoven"
